Examples of complex carbs are whole fruits, vegetables, beans, whole grains, and oats…
These digest slowly making you feel full for longer periods of time…
They also help keep your blood sugar steady, which keeps you from having sugar spikes (and crashes) which leave you feeling weak and famished, causing you to want to overeat.
Broccoli, sweet potatoes, steel-cut oats, lima beans, lentils, and carrots and apples are all examples of healthy carbs that you should be eating on a regular basis if you want to lose weight.
They will give you tons of energy, keep you full longer, and saturate your body with great vitamins, minerals, fiber, and antioxidants.
